Kartik Aaryan expected more pictures of him with Sara Ali Khan from Udaipur, explains what their meeting was all about

Kartik Aaryan has clarified that he is not back in a relationship with ex Sara Ali Khan after recent pictures of him and the actress meeting in Udaipur went viral. The Shehzada actor is, however, surprised that only one or two of their pictures together found their way on social media.

The actor who has been busy travelling for the promotions of his recently released film with Kriti Sanon for the past couple of weeks has told Sidharth Kannan in an interview what him and Sara were up to in Udaipur and even squashed rumors and hopes of reuniting with the actress for a film project.

Kartik explained in an interview that he was attending an event in Udaipur, Rajasthan and happened to bump into Sara who was also in the city. In the viral pictures, Sara and Kartik were seen engrossed in a conversation and the actor said that their meeting was purely a coincidence.

"We happened to be at the same place so someone ended up taking our picture. There were a lot of people there who were taking our pictures, I am surprised only one or two pictures surfaced," Kartik said.

Sara and Kartik who were caught in a whirlwind romance while working together on Love Aaj Kal parted way not long after and breaking hearts of millions of fans who were shipping for their pairing. After parting ways, Kartik and Sara have crossed paths on several occasions which has got their fans excited.

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan’s latest entertainer Shehzada which released in cinemas on Friday, is off to a rocky start after getting mixed reviews from critics. The film which is a remake of Allu Arjun’s 2020 Telugu hit Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has earned almost Rs. 13 crores in two days despite much higher expectations from fans.
