Neetu Kapoor recalls how Salman Khan, Sridevi performed at daughter Riddhima Kapoor's wedding: 'My friends had withdrawal symptoms'

    Neetu Kapoor recently went on a trip down the memory lane and recalled how stars like Salman Khan and the late Sridevi performed at her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s wedding with businessman Bharat Sahni. The couple tied the knot on January 26, 2006.

    Neetu Kapoor recently went on a trip down the memory lane and recalled how stars like Salman Khan and the late Sridevi performed at her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s wedding with businessman Bharat Sahni. The couple tied the knot on January 26, 2006. The veteran actress furthermore revealed how she had withdrawal syndrome after the wedding.

    Drawing parallels to the same with her son Ranbir Kapoor ’s wedding with Alia Bhatt , Neetu Kapoor said that she had to put up a dance performance for the couple within a very short time. The Khel Khel Mein actress said, “Like for Ridhima’s wedding, we had Salman, Sridevi, and 40-50 of my friends. The practice only lasted for a month. The energy that was there back then was amazing. After the wedding, my friends had withdrawal symptoms. It was a fun thing.” “But this time we did whatever we could due to less time, but it was still nice. Both Ranbir and Alia had fun. I just felt happy knowing I made Alia happy.”

    Neetu Kapoor had won the internet after she took an initiative to make the pre-wedding festivities of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor even more special by performing a special dance act for the two. Ranbir also reportedly joined her in the impromptu performance. The video rehearsal had also gone viral on social media.

    Meanwhile, on the work front, Neetu Kapoor is seen as a judge on the reality show Dance Deewane. She will also be seen in the family entertainer Jugjugg Jeeyo alongside Anil Kapoor , Varun Dhawan , and Kiara Advani . The movie will mark her comeback to the big screen after a long sabbatical. Neetu recently graced Karan Johar ’s birthday bash wherein she along with her actor son Ranbir Kapoor could be seen promoting the movie by doing the ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ gesture.
