Neetu Kapoor reveals bahu Alia Bhatt has given Ranbir Kapoor lots of love and warmth; says ‘I see the change in him’

    After 5 long years of dating, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the nuptial knot on 14th April this year in an intimate wedding at the latter’s Bandra apartment. His mother Neetu Kapoor had called it his late father Rishi Kapoor’s last wish.

    Actress Alia Bhatt is not only a hit amongst fans but also in her husband Ranbir Kapoor ’s family. She was on great terms with his late father Rishi Kapoor and shares a sweet bond with the actor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni as well as his cousins Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor, on the other hand, adores her. Proof of the same is the way the veteran star talks about her bahu and how she danced to Alia’s Dholida from Gangubai Kathiawadi on the grand finale of Hunarbaaz, soon after the wedding.

    Well, in a recent chat with ETimes, Neetu opened up about life after Ranbir and Alia’s wedding. She was quoted saying, “I am the happiest, today. She has given him a lot of love and warmth. I see the change in him. They look good together. I am very happy that Alia has come into our family. So, life has changed and I am very content. Woh tension hota hai na, shaadi nahin hui, shaadi nahi hui. Ab shaadi ho gayi!” Earlier Neetu had called Ranbir’s wedding Rishi ji’s last wish, which has now been fulfilled.

    On the work front, the veteran actress is all set to make her big Bollywood comeback with Karan Johar ’s upcoming comedy drama Jugjugg Jeeyo. Helmed by Raj Mehta, the film also stars Anil Kapoor as Neetu’s on-screen husband and Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani as her reel-life son and daughter-in-law. The much awaited project is all set to arrive in theatres on 24th June. Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir are gearing up for the release of Brahmāstra , which marks their first film together.
