Netizens accuse Shanaya Kapoor of going under the blade ahead of her debut; wonder if she’s competing with Janhvi

Kapoor Khaandaan has given the Hindi film industry several gems such as Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. Their legacy was taken forward by Arjun Kapoor, Sonam and Janhvi. Well two young Kapoor beauties from gen Z are now all set to begin their journeys as actors in Bollywood-- Boney’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor . But even before they have made their acting debuts, they have become the talk of the town because of their shocking physical transformation.

Just last night, the two arrived in style for celebrity designer Manish Malhotra’s star-studded pre Diwali bash in Mumbai. Shanaya opted for a dazzling sequined saree and left her hair down with glossy lips and minimal jewelry. She was dolled up and looked glam for the starry affair. But there are many netizens who are now trolling Shanaya, accusing her of going under the blade ahead of her debut with Karan Johar’s upcoming film Bedhadak . A few are even wondering if she is trying to compete with cousin Janhvi.

One netizen’s comment read: “Guys i think theyre having a cousins competition on who has bigger lips. Janhvi was definitely leading but shanaya seems to have taken the crown…for now”, whereas another user wrote: “I started from is this mouni after another surgery ? then realised no, went on to jahnavi? Again no, and I gave up!” Meanwhile, one message pointed out: “Meet the genz of bollywood She got a new nose, eye lift surgery, lip fillers, cheek fillers, and probably chin enhancement, At this point if she would even be able to move her face, i would consider her a good actress.”

Shanaya started her career as an assistant director on Janhvi’s 2020 film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. In her acting debut Bedhadak, she will be sharing the screen with Lakshya Lalwani and Gurfateh Pirzada.
