'No one can match the level of Salman': Kartik Aaryan tries to charm with his dance moves in Character Dheela 2.0 but netizens aren't impressed

After teasing the audience with a short glimpse of Shehzada ’s new song Character Dheela 2.0, the makers finally shared the full video. It is the new rendition of the 2011 film Ready song of the same name which featured Salman Khan and Zarine Khan. In the new version, Kartik Aaryan could be seen amidst girls doing impressive dance moves choreographed by Bosco-Caeser. However, a section of people felt he couldn’t match the charm of Salman while others felt the old version was a gem.

The 2-minute 37-second long song has been crooned by Neeraj Shridhar. In the song, Kartik performs unique steps using her T-shirt and sunglasses. Soon after the song was released, Twitter users flocked to the micro-blogging site and left their reactions. One of the users wrote, “Gaane ko kyu barbaad karne ke chkkar mein ho broo”(Why are you after ruining the song brother)Another comment read, “Arre but the original one isn't even properly old yet. #CharacterDheela2 MAKE ORIGINAL SONGS NA!!” One netizens reacted, “#CharacterDheela2 WORST song of #Shehzada music album so far Dheela Dheela Dheela is so annoying T-Series once again ruined a chartbuster song ... Lyrics are partially changed, music is creepy ... Only good thing is #KartikAaryan dance specially his foot movements.”

Some also drew a comparison between Kartik and superstar Salman Khan in the song. One of the users commented, “The Og #CharacterDheela. Meanwhile, the makers had earlier released three songs–Munda Sona Hoon Main, Chedkhaniyan, and Mera Sawaal Ka. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film also stars Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, Rajpal Yadav, and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. The film is the Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, and is slated to hit the theatres on February 17, 2023.
