No Pathaan and Tiger reunion on Bigg Boss 16, here is why Shah Rukh Khan will not promote his film on Salman Khan's show

The fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan who had wished to see them together in the latter’s popular reality show Bigg Boss 16 might be disappointed. Reportedly, Shah Rukh will not appear on the show to promote his film Pathaan . For the unversed, Salman himself is also a part of the film wherein he will have a blockbuster cameo appearance as his character from the Tiger franchise.

According to a news report in Times Now, Shah Rukh Khan has decided that he will not be promoting his film until its very release on January 25, 2023. This time, SRK has decided to go with a different marketing strategy for this ambitious film. Thus, the superstar will give popular shows like Bigg Boss 16 and The Kapil Sharma Show a miss that mostly all the top Bollywood celebs attend to promote their films. Not only this but Shah Rukh is also not giving any media interviews till the release of Pathaan.

A source close to the marketing development of the film has been quoted to reveal, “Shah Rukh Khan will not be going on the Bigg Boss show. He prefers to reach his audience directly." Apart from this, the report furthermore stated that the team of The Kapil Sharma Show also requested the superstar to grace the show several times but he politely declined. The source added, “The film has got its momentum and this time SRK who has been avoiding media attraction is going ahead with the film release without any conventional media promotion."

Well, we hope that we get to see Shah Rukh Khan attend Bigg Boss 16 once his film is out into the theatres and goes on to become a massive success. Talking about Pathaan, the film has been directed by Siddharth Anand. It also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The movie further paves the way for YRF’s much-awaited spy universe.
