Parineeti Chopra's 35th Birthday: Celebrating her Bollywood journey from London to stardom

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is often in the news these days, mostly for her movies, marriage, or even controversies at times. She never misses an opportunity to generate buzz in the media. She has recently married politician Raghav Chadha and their wedding pictures are trending over the internet. She is very active on social media and keeps posting updates for her fans. The actress has turned 35 years old today, October 22, 2023. Her fans from all around the world have sent a lot of good wishes to her. Meanwhile, Parineeti’s cousin, Priyanka Chopra, also took to her Instagram to wish her a happy birthday.

On her path to becoming such a popular and nationally recognized actress, Parineeti overcame several obstacles. At the age of 17, she left home to finish her higher education in London. She wanted to become an investment banker. She graduated from Manchester Business School with a degree in economics, finance, and business. Additionally, she worked part-time at Manchester United.

She was doing a marketing internship with Yash Raj Films when she realized that acting was her true passion and not marketing. She immediately enrolled herself in an acting school. She made her debut in Aditya Chopra’s Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, in a supporting role opposite Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. Her life turned upside down when she won a national award for her brilliant acting in Ishaqzaade co-starring Arjun Kapoor.

Parineeti in her career has given hits like Shudh Desi Romance, Hasee Toh Phasee, Golmaal Again, and Meri Pyaari Bindu. Although, she faced numerous difficulties in between, due to the box-office failure of her films Daawat-e-Ishq and Kill Dil. Referring to this Pari in a statement revealed “Two of my films, Daawat-e-Ishq and Kill Dil didn’t work. Suddenly I didn’t have money. I had bought a house and made big investments. Then I went through a big heartbreak in my life. Literally, all departments in my life were down, and I had nothing positive to look forward to,” she said in an interview with a news portal. She persisted though, and as a result of her continued efforts and refusal to give up, she has achieved a huge amount of success in her life.

Besides acting, Parineeti also has a talent for singing. Her collection of songs includes Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin, Teri Mitti, and Matlabi Yariyan. She has also done her own composition called O Piya for her wedding day. Parineeti was last seen in Mission Raniganj co-starring Akshay Kumar. However, the film did not perform well at the box office. But Parineeti didn't give up and will return with her forthcoming film Chamkila, co-starring Diljit Dosanjh, directed by Imtiaz Ali. It would be interesting to watch how things turn out since this will be her first on-screen project with Imtiaz Ali.
