'Pathaan’s single day earning is more than your life time earnings' : Netizens react to Kangana Ranaut's subtle dig at Shah Rukh Khan's film

There is no stopping for Kangana Ranaut as the actress arrived on Twitter once again. She took a subtle dig at the plotline of Shah Rukh Khan ’s blockbuster film Pathaan recently hinting at how it has shown Pakistan in a positive light. However, some netizens reacted to the same sharply but the actress had an answer for them anyways.

Talking about the same, Kangana Ranaut’s tweets collectively read, “All those who are claiming Pathan is a triumph of love over hate, I agree but whose love over whose hate? Let’s be precise, whose is buying tickets and making it a success? Yes, it is India’s love and inclusiveness where eighty percent of Hindus lives, and yet a film called Pathan which shows our enemy nation Pakistan and ISIS in good light is running successfully, it is this spirit of India 🇮🇳beyond hate and judgments that make it Mahan… it is the love of India that has triumphed hate and petty politics of enemies.”

The Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress added, “Lekin all those who are having high hopes please note… Pathan sirf ek film ho sakti hai … goonjega toh yahan sirf Jai Shri Ram. Jai Shri Ram. I do believe Indian Muslims are patriotic and very different from Afghan Pathans … the crux is India will never be Afghanistan, we all know what is happening in Afghanistan, it’s beyond hell there, so apt name for the movie Pathan according to its storyline is the Indian Pathan.”

A user soon taunted the actress by saying, “Pathaan’s single-day earning is more than your life time earnings.” This was a dig for her last film Dhaakad tanking deplorably at the box office. On this, the actress replied to the user saying, “Nimo bhai i don’t have any earnings left, I have put my house my office every single thing that I owned on mortgage just to make a film which will celebrate the constitution of India and our love for this great nation … paise toh sabhi kama lete hain aisa koi hai jo aise udai?” On the other hand, another netizen shared the lifetime collections of Dhaakad which was a very poor Rs 2.58 crore. Kangana also had a reply for the user.

She said, “Haan ji Dhaakad bahut badi historic flop rahi hai, iss baat se maine kab mana kiya? SRK ji ki dus saal mein yeh pehli film chali hai,hum bhi unse prerna lete hain, ummeed hai jaise Bharat ne unko mauka diya humko bhi milega, after all yeh Bharat Mahan hai udar hai,Jai Shri Ram.”

Kangana Ranaut’s views on Pathaan left the Twitterati divided. While some fans praised her for not mincing her words others started trolling her for once again tweeting about the achievements of other actors. On the work front, she wrapped her film Emergency recently.
