Runway 34: Rakul Preet Singh reveals what she learnt from Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan

Rakul Preet Singh is collaborating with stalwarts like Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn in her next film Runway 34. The actress is currently on a promotional spree for the same. In a recent group media interaction, Rakul revealed what she has learned from the two superstars while working with them in the aviation thriller flick.

Talking about the same, Rakul Preet Singh said, “I think the calmness that Ajay (Devgn) Sir has and Amit Ji (Amitabh Bachchan) has literally everything (laughs) What do I take from him? I think the control of language that he has and the voice modulation that he possesses. The vast experience that he has by being here for such long years.”

Earlier in an exclusive interview with Desimartini, Rakul Preet Singh had also recalled a heartwarming incident revolving around Amitabh Bachchan on the Runway 34 sets. The De De Pyaar De actress had said, “The entire journey was a fond one. This whole experience working with Amit Ji (Amitabh Bachchan) is something that I'll never forget. I do remember this one day, he gave biscuits to everyone on sets and he told me "Aap Toh Nahi Khayengi (You'll not eat this right?)" to which I said yes. After a while, he came back and gave me 3 different boxes of nuts. I felt so nice after that. I kept those 3 boxes nicely placed in my house right now. My house help was also incidentally on the set that day since she wanted to see the shoot. And even she has kept those boxes so nicely at my place saying, "Yeh Amitabh Bachchan Ji Ne Diye Hain (This has been given to me by Amitabh Bachchan)." She does not put anything inside those boxes and has just kept them in the corner. I'll never forget this gesture and otherwise also this whole experience of working with him is something that I'll cherish for life.”

Talking about the movie, it also stars Boman Irani in a pivotal role. The movie is also directed by Ajay Devgn. It is slated to release on April 29.
