During a press interaction in Chennai on Wednesday, Sathyaraj issued a clarification and denied the news. He suggested that he would play the lead role in the Modi biopic if filmmakers could depict the truth as it is. "No one approached me for a biopic movie on PM Modi. My friend Manivannan is not here with us. If he were alive and directed it, he would have shown the story as it is. If Vijay Milton sir, could make the movie as it is, that's also fine. If filmmakers like Vetrimaaran, Pa. Ranjith, or Mari Selvaraj direct it, the Modi biopic will be very good," he added.
A few days ago, popular celebrity manager Nikil Murukan claimed that Sathyaraj would be essaying the role of Modi in a biopic. The announcement made national headlines, sending a wave of excitement among fans across the country.

Sathyaraj attended the teaser launch for the upcoming movie Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan. Written and directed by Vijay Milton, the film stars Vijay Antony in the lead role. Speaking at the event, Sathyaraj expressed happiness about being part of the cast.
Sathyaraj also confirmed that he has been roped in to play a key role alongside Superstar Rajinikanth in Coolie. The upcoming movie will mark his onscreen reunion with Rajinikanth after a gap of 38 years.
