    Filmmaker Karan Johar shares a deep and very special bond with superstar Shah Rukh Khan . Theirs is a friendship which is rare to find in not just the industry, but even in movies today. Their first film together was Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge-- while SRK headlined the project, KJo was an assistant director and also played the superstar’s on-screen friend in the masterpiece. Three years later they reunited for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which marked Karan’s directorial debut and emerged as one of Shah Rukh’s most iconic films of all time.

    The filmmaker-actor duo went on to work together in super hits like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and My Name Is Khan. Well, not just Karan but even his filmmaker father Yash Johar adored Shah Rukh. Much to our delight, today KJo decided to give fans a glimpse of the love that his father had in his heart for SRK. He took to his Twitter handle to share an old clip, in which Yash ji said, “Shah Rukh, I have worked with him from Duplicate, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, the fourth picture I'm doing with him.”

    The late producer went on to add, “He's like a son to me, he's like a friend to me and I do not know how I will ever be able to make a picture without him.” How sweet is this? A heartwarming video to help filmy fans beat their mid-week blues! Well, KJo and SRK recently reunited for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva. While Karan co-produced the fantasy action adventure film, Shah Rukh Khan stole the show with his epic cameo in the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer.
