Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan starrer Tiger Vs Pathaan to be India's biggest film ever produced, shoot to commence in 2024

It’s official now! Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to have a face-off in Tiger Vs Pathaan , an upcoming movie in Yash Raj Films’ spy universe. Director Siddharth Anand has been roped in to helm the movie and the shooting will reportedly begin in 2024. According to reports, the production house has planned to mount Shah Rukh and Salman starrer as India’s biggest film ever produced.

The upcoming film will mark Shah Rukh and Salman’s second full-fledged collaboration after the 1995 film, Karan Arjun. The two superstars will be seen reprising their roles as spies in the upcoming film, which follows the events of Pathaan, Tiger3, and War2 from the YRF spy universe. “Siddharth is getting a dream cast of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan coming together for their first full-fledged film since ‘Karan Arjun’ [1995] and Siddharth will also be given all the support he needs to mount ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’ as the biggest film that India has ever produced,” a source was quoted as saying to Deadline.

Further, the source added that Aditya Chopra has immense trust in Siddharth to deliver a grand visual spectacle that has never been seen before with the upcoming movie. For the unversed, the Yash Raj Spy universe kicked off with the Tiger franchise- Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. The films featured Salman Khan as RAW agent Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger, and Katrina Kaif as Pakistan’s ISI agent Zoya Humaini. The spy universe continued with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War, wherein Hrithik plays RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal and Shroff his protégé Khalid Rahmani. The recently released Pathaan further takes forward the spy universe with Shah Rukh playing exiled RAW agent and Deepika Padukone as ISI agent Rubina Mohsin.

Meanwhile, Salman is geared up for the third installment of the Tiger franchise, Tiger 3 in which Shah Rukh will be making a cameo appearance. On the other hand, Hrithik’s War is headed for a sequel, War 2, in which Jr NTR has come on board as per reports.
