Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in Laal Singh Chaddha leaked; Aamir Khan likens him to Elvis Presley

Well, there are several reasons to look forward to the Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chadha which is releasing this Friday (August 11) and is an official adaptation of Forrest Gump . Now there is yet another huge reason to get excited about the movie and it is none other than Shah Rukh Khan ’s cameo appearance. Yeah, you heard that right! After much speculation, Aamir has finally confirmed SRK’s cameo in the film.

Not only this but the details surrounding the superstar’s cameo role have also been revealed in Laal Singh Chadha. Those who have seen the original film will know how Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump as a kid had unknowingly taught ‘King of Rock and Roll’ Elvis Presley his iconic signature dance move. Now, in this adaptation, Shah Rukh Khan will be exactly embodying Elvis’ character wherein Laal’s character will presumably teach him his cult outstretched arm pose.

Aamir Khan has also confirmed the same in his latest video interview with a Hollywood channel. The actor was heard saying, “Well, Shah Rukh is a friend and I told him that I wanted someone to represent what Elvis (Presley) represented in America. I need the biggest iconic star of India which is why I'm coming to you. And he was very sweet to accept it.” Take a look at the video.

Not only this but a picture of Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo appearance from the movie was also leaked on the internet recently. According to the fans, the picture is indeed a still from Laal Singh Chaddha as they stated that one of the film critics who watched the movie during its international screenings had shared this on social media. One can see a silhouette of Shah Rukh doing his signature arm pose against the backdrop of the tricolor of the Indian National Flag.

Well, if this doesn’t make one excited for Laal Singh Chaddha even more, we don’t know what else will. The movie has been helmed by Advait Chandan. It will also mark the Bollywood debut of Naga Chaitanya.
