'Sudhar jao nahi toh..' : Kangana Ranaut has a strong message for Bollywood celebs embroiled in online betting case

It is not a hidden fact that many Bollywood celebs including the likes of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection to an online betting scandal. These celebs came under the scanner for allegedly promoting a betting platform and also being in contact with the founders of the same. Amidst this, actress Kangana Ranaut took to her social media handle to share that she was also approached to endorse the same platform. She also had a loud and clear message for the celebs who agreed to promote it.

Talking about the same, Kangana shared a screenshot of a news portal reporting on Sonu Sood, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sunny Leone coming under the radar of the ED for allegedly promoting the betting app. The Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress wrote, “This endorsement came to me almost six times over a span of one year, every time they added several crores to the offer to buy me, but I said no each time. Look, integrity is not just for your conscience anymore. Yeh naya Bharat hai, sudhar jao nahi toh sudhar diye jaoge.” Take a look at the same.

Ranbir Kapoor was asked to appear at the Enforcement Directorate office in Raipur in connection with the alleged promotion of the betting app. However, ED’s lawyer on Friday (October 6) revealed that the Rockstar actor had asked for one week’s time to appear in the ED office with respect to the case. Kapoor is said to have carried out promotional activities for the application. His Tu Jhooti Main Makkar co-star Shraddha Kapoor has also been summoned with connection to the same app.

Apart from Ranbir and Shraddha, other A-listers like Kapil Sharma, Huma Qureshi, and Hina Khan are also speculated to be under the scanner of the ED. The application is said to have enabled online betting for games like poker, cricket, badminton, and many more. On the work front, Kangana will be seen in movies like Tejas and Emergency.
