Of late, The Archies stars Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor have been speculated to be dating each other. The rumours sparked when Vedang was seen attending Khushi’s intimate birthday lunch along with Janhvi Kapoor, Shikhar Pahariya and Orhan Awatramani aka Orry. In the latest interview, the actor has finally cleared the air around the ongoing rumours. He said he has a strong bond with Khushi but he is single right now.

Vedang opened up about his bond with Khushi in an interview with Times Now. “"We had the same interest in music. Khushi and I are not dating. I have a very strong bond with him. We have known each other for a very long time and we are connected through many things," he said. Further, he hinted that the situation may change. "I am single right now. When the right time comes, hopefully the situation will change," he said.

Vedang played the role of Reggie while Khushi essayed the role of Betty Cooper in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The film, which was released on Netflix earlier this month, also stars Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Dot, Mihir Ahuja and Yuvraj Menda. The film is an adaptation of American comic series of the same name. Set in 1960s, the Archie and gang navigate through romance, friendship and the future of Riverdale as developers threaten to destroy a beloved park.

Apart from making acting debut in The Archies, Vedang also showcased his singing talent in film. He has lent his voice to the song Everyone is Politics, which is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Meanwhile, Vedang received appreciation for his performance in the film. Up next, the actor is reported to play a significant part in the upcoming Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra. Directed by Vasan Bala and jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Alia's Eternal Sunshine Productions, the film is set to explore the theme of a prison break in an action-packed narrative.
