'This guy ain’t gonna be sleeping for nights': Amitabh Bachchan hitches a ride from a stranger, netizens react

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan always impresses fans with his simplicity and down-to-earth attitude. He recently took a bike ride from a stranger to reach a destination on time and left his fans in awe of him once again. He also shared a gratitude post for his ‘ride buddy’ and netizens couldn’t keep calm.

The Piku actor took to his Instagram handle and posted a picture of himself with the stranger on the bike. “Thank you for the ride buddy .. don’t know you .. but you obliged and got me on time to location of work .. faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams .. thank you capped , shorts and yellowed T - shirt owner," the 80-year-old captioned the post. Soon after his post surfaced, his granddaughter Navya Nanda dropped a laughing and a red heart emoji.

On the other hand, one of the netizens wrote, “This yellow T-shirted guy ain’t gonna be sleeping for nights, and not washing his clothes or his bike for a long long time!” Another commented, “The driver kid now has a lifetime story to tell. How he gave ride to bachan sir.” “Had always heard Mr. Bachchan has always been the most punctual! Can see today what honouring Time truly means to you! 🫡❤️🙌 I hope actors can learn a thing or two from this!” praised a netizen.

A couple of months ago, Amitabh suffered a serious injury on the sets of his upcoming movie, Project K. During an action shot, his rib cartilage popped, broke and and got a muscle tear to the right rib cage. He was hospitalised in Hyderabad and later came back to Mumbai for some rest. He has now recovered and is all set to resume his shooting.

His upcoming film, Project K also stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. Besides this, he will be seen in Section 84 and Ganapath. He also has a Hindi remake of The Intern. He is also set to return with the new season of quiz reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati.
