    Kannada actress Ashika Ranganath has bagged a huge role in Chiranjeevi’s upcoming socio-fantasy drama Vishwambhara. The makers of the film took to their social media handles to announce the exciting update: “Welcoming the charming @AshikaRanganath to our EPIC CINEMATIC JOURNEY alongside Megastar @KChiruTweets in the mighty #Vishwambhara. Brace yourselves for a BLOCKBUSTER EXPERIENCE. Coming to cinemas on January 10th, 2025.” 

    It is worth noting that Ashika had earlier confirmed that she would be part of the massive project. She revealed that although her character is not paired with Chiranjeevi, she plays a crucial role, which she is, expectedly, quite excited about! Ashika is a Kannada actress who, apart from working in several Kannada films, made her Telugu debut in Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s film Amigos. She also received appreciation for her role in Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga. Vishwambhara is her third Tollywood film.

    Earlier, it was reported that Trisha will be playing the female lead in Vishwambhara, which is directed by Mallidi Vassishta. She has been paired with Chiranjeevi in the movie. Apart from her, Mrunal Thakur and Meenakshi Chaudhary have also been roped in for pivotal roles in the film. With the addition of Ashika, fans are excited about this treat that is slated to be released in theatres during Sankranthi 2025.

    Vishwambhara will also star Ramya Pasupaleti, Esha Chawla, and Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri in prominent roles.

    Writer Sai Madhav Burra, known for his work on Chiranjeevi's films like Khaidi No 150 and Syeraa, has penned the screenplay for Vishwambhara, which is a fantasy flick. This is the third time that Burra and Chiranjeevi have collaborated. 

    Sources reveal that a huge budget has been dedicated to the extensive graphics work. Academy Award-winning composer MM Keeravani is teaming up with lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry for the film's songs. Popular cinematographer Chota Naidu is in charge of the cinematography, promising a visually stunning experience.

    Vishwambhara is slated to have a worldwide release on January 10, 2025.
