While Shah Rukh Khan greeted fans on Eid, here’s why Salman Khan avoided coming outside this time

On the special occasion of Eid yesterday, Bollywood’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan kept tradition alive by stepping outside his house Mannat to greet the crowds. It was a special surprise for fans because the superstar has been keeping his distance from the limelight, in order to keep his new look for upcoming projects under wraps. Much to our delight, he was also joined by his younger son AbRam Khan who stood by his father’s side and sweetly waved at the many fans.

Every year on Eid, not just SRK but even Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan greets the crowds beneath his house from his Galaxy Apartment's balcony. But to the disappointment of fans, the superstar decided to skip tradition this year for security reasons. According to a report shared by ETimes, Salman is avoiding stepping out in public due to the death threats he and his family received by Lawrence Bishnoi 's gang. 10 special force officers have reportedly been posted near his home and they even accompany him on movie sets.

Last month, Salman’s father Salim Khan found an unsigned letter addressed to him and his son, on the bench where he sits every day during his walks at Mumbai’s Bandra Bandstand promenade. It reportedly read: “Salim Khan Salman Khan bahot jald tumahra Moosewala hoga k.G.B.L.B.” Buzz suggested that this was sent by Bishnoi, who was also involved in Punjabi singer and politician Sidhu Moosewala’s assassination.

Well, safety comes first! On the work front, Salman is currently busy shooting for his next film Bhaijaan, which was formerly titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.
