Ye Nana Patekar ki tarah kyon doud..': Sara Ali Khan running away from paparazzi evokes hilarious reactions from netizens

Sara Ali Khan has often been cordial with the paparazzi who follow her wherever she goes, but things seem to change lately. A video has surfaced on the internet in which she could be seen literally running away from the paparazzi. Dressed in a printed leggings and a tank top, she was seen refusing to pose as the photographers called her name aloud. Her behavior got netizens wondering what went wrong which made her run in a hurry.

Reacting to the video, one of the users wrote, “I think she is participating in Khelo India Games?” Another poked fun saying, “Kam se kam uss doggie ka pic toh daal dete jo uske pichhe pada tha” (At least could have shared the picture of that dog who followed her) One of them made her comparison with veteran actor Nana Patekar, saying, “Ye nana patekar ki tarah kyon doud rahi hai.” Some wondered if it was nature’s call that made her run so quickly. “Mam ko washroom jldi jana hai…,” read one of the comments. Recently, Sara’s first look from her upcoming thriller drama inspired by a true story, Ae Watan Mere Watan was unveiled. Dressed in a white saree paired with a matching blouse, she posed for a de-glam character for the first time in her career. Written by Darab Farooqui and Kannan Iyer, the film is about an unsung hero known for setting up an underground radio that functioned during the Quit India phase of the independence struggle in 1942.

Sharing her excitement about playing the role of freedom fighter, Sara said, “it is very challenging to essay a character that is vastly different from anything that I’ve done before, it is a project I’m going to work really hard on. And most importantly, I’m going to cherish every day that I get to play an enigmatic freedom fighter,” she said in a statement. On the personal front, she is being rumoured to be dating cricketer Shubman Gill.
