    The teaser of Sara Ali Khan’s biographical period drama Ae Watan Mere Watan is finally out. The movie has been produced by Karan Johar and revolves around the life of freedom fighter Usha Mehta. The producer introduces us to Sara who can be seen as the fierce and determined Usha in the teaser.

    Talking about the same, Karan can be heard saying how in the year 1942, Britishers were leaving no stone unturned to crush the Quit India Movement. Amidst this, a 22-year-old young woman named Usha Mehta bravely started an underground radio. She tricked the Britishers and put her life at risk while doing so and her endeavour rattled the foundation of British rule. Take a look at the teaser.

    Karan can be further heard talking about the courageous tales of Sehmat played by Alia Bhatt in Raazi who married into a Pakistani family to spy for India. He also tells the brave story of Captain Vikram Batra played by Sidharth Malhotra in Shershaah who was martyred during the Kargil War. Both Raazi and Shershaah were also produced by Karan’s Dharma Productions. Sara can be seen at her intense best in Ae Watan Mere Watan. The movie will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video on March 21, 2024.

It also stars Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O' Neil, and Anand Tiwari in pivotal roles alongside a special guest appearance by Emraan Hashmi.
