Ajith Kumar's AK 62 will have the shortest production time in the actor's career

Ajith's upcoming AK62 has finally started production this month. The production of Ajith 'Ak 62' has had a few delays in its production first with director Vignesh leaving the project earlier this year due to creative differences and recently after the tragic death of the actor's father P Subramaniam.

According to a new report, AK62 will be the actor's quickest movie to date with a production time of 45 days. Magizh Thirumeni known for movies like Kalaga Thalaivan and Thadam took over the reins of Ak 62 after Vignesh left the project.

There was a lot of good buzz surrounding the project, such as the movie will feature both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha Krishna in major roles.

And Arvind Swami has been cast as the main antagonist in the movie, which had many Ajith fans excited about the project.

However, with the change in direction for AK62, we will have to wait a while till we can know more about the plot and cast of the movie.

In a recent interview director Vignesh expressed his disappointment in having to leave AK62, the main reason was the fact that the producers were not happy with the second half of his screenplay.

But the director did wish the actor and the new team the very best for the project.

Anirudh was initially roped in to do the music for the project but had to set away due to a change in schedule, Santhosh Narayanan has taken over and Nirav Shah known for his work in movies like Dhoom, Wanted, and 2.0 is in charge of cinematography.

As for Ajith, his first movie of 2023, the heist-thriller movie Thunivu directed by H. Vinoth has a massive hit at the box office and has 220 crores, making it one of the highest-grossing movies of the new year.

As for AK62, we are sure to know more details in the coming weeks.
