Akshay Kumar has been on a shooting spree, and had major releases like Bell Bottom and Sooryavanshi right after the pandemic restrictions were eased. Even now, he has a film coming up soon- Bachchan Pandey. However, looks like Bollywood's Khiladi has refused to promote this release on The Kapil Sharma Show . 

Yes, you read that right. According to a report in HT, Akshay would not be promoting the film on the comedian's show, and the reason is Kapil making a reference to Akshay interviewing the PM and asking him about how he likes to eat his mangoes. A source said, “Akshay took all of Kapil’s jokes head-on but the dig on the PM interview seemed to mock the dignity of such a high office. So Akshay requested the channel to not air that question. It is the right of the guests to make such a request as the show is not live. The channel agreed, but the said scene was leaked on the internet soon after. It was a breach of trust on the part of someone in Kapil’s team, and Akshay sought clarification before he appears on the show again.“
