    According to a new rumor, Ant-Man 3 writer Jeff Loveness is no longer penning the script for the next Avengers movie.

    He was let go from the project before the current writer's strike, this could be due to poor reception from fans and critics of Ant-Man 3.

    It remains to be seen who will be replacing Loveness but one thing is for sure that we will have to wait till the Hollywood writer's strike is settled.

    Marvel Studios is enjoying the success of the third installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. The movie has grossed over 540 million dollars worldwide.

    Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 had overtaken Ant-Man 3 at the box office and finally brought the MCU back on track.

    Ant-Man 3 which was the first movie in the fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe received mixed reviews from critics and fans and underperformed at the box office.

    As for GOTG 3, the movie managed to gross 60 million on its second weekend in theaters bringing its total gross to 540 million, making it the fourth highest-grossing movie of the year.

    Currently, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is the highest-grossing movie in the trilogy with 869 dollars, so it remains to be seen if the third installment can top that record.

    In the movie, the guardians will be facing off against the High Evolutionary(Chukwudi Iwuji) a genius scientist who is obsessed with genetic modifications and wants to unlock the next step in evolution.

    He has altered himself thus giving himself super strength and speed as well as the power to evolve and devolve lifeforms at will, making him one of the most powerful villains the team has faced.

    The movie boasts a star-studded cast that includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Sean Gunn, Sylvester Stallone, Michael Rooker, Elizabeth Debicki, and Bradley Cooper.
