Did Kartik Aaryan forego his fees for Shehzada? Here’s what we know

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan emerged as the janta ka superstar in 2022 with his incredible performance in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Not only did the horror comedy win hearts but also minted quite a lot of money at the box office. The heartthrob went on to leave a lasting impact on audiences with his work in Freddy. The romantic thriller was yet another proof of his versatility. Up next, Kartik will be seen in Shehzada , which is the Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. But he won’t just be acting in the film.

According to the latest report shared by Bollywood Hungama, Kartik has turned producer with this project. How did that happen? A source revealed, “It wasn’t planned or anything. It is the early days for Kartik to turn producer. He has just started his career as an actor. But then, the unexpected happened. Shehzada encountered a financial crisis and if someone did not step in at that moment, the project would have been stalled.” The source went on to add that Kartik offered to forego his fees, and that’s when the makers offered him a seat as a producer.

Also starring the gorgeous Kriti Sanon, Shehzada is all set to arrive in theatres on 10th February. Apart from this action drama, Kartik has many other exciting projects in his envious line up. He will soon reunite with Kiara Advani in the upcoming love saga titled Satyaprem Ki Katha, which marks his first collaboration with filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala.
