After all the hype, it was finally on the day and date of June 2, 2023 that the film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke was released in theatres. Thanks to the anticipation for the film, which was built up because of the ‘simple but effective’ trailer that made people flock to the theatres to see this Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan starrer. In case you missed seeing the film in theatres, then, here is the good news for you!

The film can finally be seen on the OTT platform! The film will be streamed on JioCinema, approximately a year after its theatrical release. This film, which was directed by Laxman Utekar (who had also written the film), was produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The film made good business when it was released in theatres.

As for the film’s plot, it mirrors the lives of a happily married couple, who are based out of Indore. This couple viz., Kapil and Saumya, one day, take a decision of ending their marriage! The reason? Well… they plan that, after they end their marriage, they would be starting a new chapter in their respective lives.

Much to their shock and surprise, their ‘fool-proof’ plan of ending their marriage meets with a roadblock when their respective families get to know about their decisions. What follows after that are a series of incidents which is bound to make the audience fall off their chairs with laughter! Full marks to the film’s director Laxman Utekar for having handled the serious situations of the film with the same amount of sincerity as he did with the comic scenes.

As for the film’s commercials, reports state that the film was made at a moderate budget of around Rs. 40 crore. But the film went on to sweep the box office and helped its makers laugh all the way to the bank. Estimated reports state that the film went on to make around Rs. 115.90 (global collections).
