Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali: Aayush Sharma never walked out of Salman Khan’s film; Sooraj Pancholi might join cast

When Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde ’s film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali was announced, it was suggested that the superstar’s actor brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal will be joining the star cast as his on-screen brothers. However, a few months ago it was reported that Aayush had apparently walked out of the project because he felt his role was not as big as Antim, which was his last film with Salman. Shreyas Talpade and Arshad Warsi ’s names were then connected to the project but recent buzz on the internet stated that the former has been replaced by Aayush, who decided to rejoin the cast.

Well, the latest report shared by News18 has now revealed that Aayush had never actually dropped out of the project. In fact, Shreyas and Arshad were reportedly never a part of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. A source was quoted saying, “Aayush and Zaheer have always been a part of the film and have not replaced anyone. The superstar who launched Zaheer with Notebook (2019) and brother-in-law Aayush with Loveratri (2018) had recommended their name when the film was announced and the production house had agreed to it.”

Salman Khan likely to produce Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali as Sajid Nadiadwala steps back? 

While Arshad and Shreyas were never approached for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, the report suggests that another actor might join the star cast. The source stated, “In fact, Sooraj Pancholi who was also launched by Salman with Hero (2015) is also being considered for a role in the film. The trio who have small but crucial roles will be seen as three friends who cross paths with Salman’s character and end up helping him.” It was earlier reported that Aayush and Zaheer will play the roles of Salman’s on-screen brothers along with Bigg Boss 13 runner up Asim Riaz.

With so much confusion around the film’s star cast and characters, we eagerly hope that Salman and team officially announce the project soon to give fans the much-needed clarity.
