Prithviraj and Basil Joseph teaming up for Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey director Vipin Das's 'Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil'

Director Vipin Das Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey , which starred Basil Joseph and Darshana Rajendran in the lead was one of the most critically and commercially successful Malayalam movies of 2022.

Grossing an impressive 45 crores at the box office on a budget of 5 crores, so movie fans were delighted by the news that Prithviraj and Basil Joseph will be sharing the screen for the first time in Vipin Das's next movie.

Prithviraj took to Twitter to announce the news and revealed that the movie will be titled Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil .

The movie is being produced by Prithviraj Productions in association with E4 Entertainment and the script will be written by Deepu Pradeep, who also wrote the script for Basil Joseph's directorial debut Kunjiramayanam.

Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil will be director Vipin Das's fourth movie, he made his directorial debut in 2016 with the romantic comedy Mudhugauv, and he directed two movies in 2022 Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey as well the investigation thriller Antakshari.

Basil Joseph along with starring in some hit movies like Palthu Janwar, Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, Dear Friend, and Nna Thaan Case Kodu also won the Best director award at the 2022 Asian Academy Creative Award for his 2021 superhero movie Minnal Murali.

He also has three other projects lined up for 2023 they are Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham, Cup, and Ajayante Randam Moshanam.

As for Prithviraj 2022 was a good year for the actor with hits like 'Kaduva' and his year-ender crime drama 'Kappa', which is still going strong at the box office and holds the number spot in Kerala behind Avatar: The Way of Water.

Currently, Prithviraj has four other Malayalam movies that are coming out in 2023 which are Aadujeevitham, Khalifa, Vilayath Buddha, Double Mohanan, and Kaaliyan.

He will also be appearing in the Telugu movie Salaar and the Hindi movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
