The franchise has grossed around 530 crores at the box office. Leo also marks the second collaboration between Lokesh and Vijay after 2021's Master.

Leo will hit theaters worldwide on 20 October 2023.

As for Jailer, The movie will be the first time Rajinikanth will be working with director Nelson, The director's last movie was Beast which starred Vijay in the lead role.

The music for the movie is composed by Anirudh, making it his third collaboration with Rajinikanth, after Petta and Darbar.

In Jailer Rajinikanth plays the role of a Muthuvel Pandian the warden of the notorious prison. However, the plot of the movie remains under wraps.

But there is a rumor floating around that in the movie warden Muthuvel Pandian will have to protect his prison after a group of armed thugs breaks in to rescue their captured leader.
