Rajkummar Rao becomes victim of fraudulent activity as his Pan card is used to take a loan in his name

Rajkummar Rao took to his social media handle to bring an important matter to light of his being a victim of fraudulent activity. The actor revealed that his Pan card has been misused to take a loan in his name. Rao further said that due to this, his credit score has been affected.

Talking about the same, Rajkummar Rao tweeted, “#FraudAlert My pan card has been misused and a small loan of Rs.2500 has been taken on my name. Due to which my cibil score has been affected. @CIBIL_Official. Please rectify the same and do take precautionary steps against this.” Take a look at his tweet.

The fans started sharing similar experiences of facing this fraudulent experience and also shared some advice with Rajkummar Rao to avoid facing this situation again. One of the users stated, “The same case has happened with me in 2019. One of the guy fromMojaidpur District Baghalpur Bhiar 812001 has taken a bike on loan from Indusind Bank and he misused my pan Card, and now he's not paying the EMI and it got affected on my cibil score.”

While another netizen stated that Rajkummar Rao should avoid giving his Pan card or Aadhar card as identity proof anywhere unless that thing is related to banking. He wrote, “Avoid giving PAN card / Aadhar Card as an Identity proof anywhere unless related to Banking or Investments. Only Driving License / Voter ID.”

Earlier this year, Rajkummar Rao had also found his name to be used by scammers to extort a whopping amount of Rs 3 crore. He had sent a screenshot of the mail that was posed to be sent by him to a production manager.
