    And history has been made! The dance number ‘ Naatu Naatu ’ from RRR wins the Oscar in the Best Original Song category. The Twitterati went berserk as soon as the news was announced on the official social media handle of the Academy Awards. The track defeated other acclaimed songs like 'This Is A Life' from 'Everything, Everywhere, All at Once,' 'Applause' from Tell It Like a Woman and 'Raise Me Up' from 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ to win the coveted award.

    Talking about the same, a video has also been going viral of music composer MM Keeravani giving his winning speech in a sing-song manner stating how RRR has created history. We can see Lady Gaga who was also one of the nominees in the same category cheering for him. We also see a glimpse of Deepika Padukone who looks super proud of the composer.     Meanwhile, the Oscars 2023 occasion also saw a mind-boggling performance of the song. The audience went berserk and gave a standing ovation to the performance of ‘Naatu Naatu’ live on stage. The singers of the song Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava performed the track live on stage while dancer Lauren Gottlieb performed in the song. Apart from RRR, Guneet Monga's documentary, The Elephant Whisperers also made India proud and won at the Best Documentary category.
