    Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur has finally been assigned a release date. The film based on the life of former Chief of Staff of the Indian Army, has already got the fans excited with the first look showing Vicky’s incredible transformation and now finally the first teaser of Sam Bahadur has been revealed to show Vicky in character.

    Director of the film Meghna Gulzar made the big announcement on social media sharing that there’s exactly 365 days remaining to see Sam Bahadur in cinemas now. The release date of the movie has been set at 1 December 2023.

    In the first teaser of Sam Badhadur, we can already make out how Vicky has gotten into the skin of the character. While we only see his back to the camera as he makes his way through a battalion of men, his confident gait and body language suggests that Vicky is going to nail this one right on its head.

    Sam Bahadur was announced way back in 2019 with Vicky’s first look in character and fans were amazed at his epic transformation. The film only went on floors this year with Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra joining the cast. Fatima will be seen playing the former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film.

    Apart from Vicky playing Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in this biopic, in Kangana Ranaut led Emergency actor Milind Soman will also be seen playing the same character. The movie will also be releasing next year and is based on the life of Indira Gandhi.

    Sam Bahadur is Meghna Gulzar’s next big directorial project after Raazi which was led by Alia Bhatt and also starred Vicky in a key role. Vicky has also played an army man in in the 2019 surprise hit Uri: The Surgical Strike which ultimately got him his very first National Film Award.
