    Lijo Jose Pellisery is one of the most talented directors working in the Malayalam film industry. He has consistently delivered back-to-back critical hits.

    The director's 2019 movie, Jallikattu was selected as India's official entry at the 93rd Academy Awards, becoming the third Malayalam movie to do so.

    The director's upcoming project with Mohanlal is one of the most anticipated movies of 2023 and the first time the duo will be collaborating.

    Mohanlal has been having a rough go at the box office with his recent movies like Aaraatu and Monster being universally panned by critics and audiences.

    The movie has a lot of hype surrounding it, as fans of the Malayalam superstar have confidence that the upcoming project will turn things around and be a massive success.

    While plot details remain under wraps, it is rumored that Mohanlal will be playing the role of a wrestler named Chemboth Simon.

    Producers of the movie are currently in talks with Bollywoood actress Radhika Apte to play the female lead opposite Mohanlal.

    If the actreess joins the project, this will be her second Malayalam movie after 2015s 'Haram' in which he was paired opposite Fahadh Faasil.

    In a recent interview, Prithviraj revealed that production for the movie will start soon, with shooting to take place in Rajasthan. The actor also expressed his excitement to watch the project on the big screen.

    The producers of the movie revealed that the first look and title of the project will be announced this Friday( December 23?) as a Christmas treat to fans.


    Meanwhile, Lijo Jose Pellissery is enjoying the success of his latest movie with Mammootty titled 'Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam which premiered at this year's International Film Festival of Kerala(IIFK) to rave reviews.

    The producers of the movie have confirmed that the movie will hit theaters in early 2023.
