Karan Johar replaces Salman Khan to host Weekend Ka Vaar in Bigg Boss 17 this week, netizens react

The popular reality show Bigg Boss 17 witnesses superstar Salman Khan taking the stage to school contestants every weekend. However, the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar will not see that happening as filmmaker Karan Johar will replace the actor. The makers have announced about this change on the social platform, and netizens have reacted differently.

Taking to Twitter, Bigg Boss wrote, “EXCLUSIVE & BREAKING! #BiggBoss_Tak Salman Khan will not host #WeekendKaVaar this week Karan Johar to host Weekend ka Vaar this week as a proxy host. #BiggBoss_Tak.” For the unversed, Karan had earlier hosted Bigg Boss OTT Season 1.

Soon after, a user reacted, “Salman bhai ko achanak kya hogaya” The second user said, “Kyunki Salman Khan ko bhi mahsus hone lga hai ki ye bakwas show chl raha hai ekdum se…” “Maza nahi ayega bina salman khan ke,” said the third user. “Not goin to watch Karan se achi host Farah khan hai usi ko le aate,” said the fourth user. A netizen commented, “He is a man of his words. He knows that this #WeekendKaVaar is going to be all about babu bhaiya just because of that quitting the show scenario and in the last episode @BeingSalmanKhan clearly mentioned that he is not gonna talk to @uk07rider in this whole season.”

Meanwhile, the show has been witnessing quite a twists and turns. In the recent episode, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain got to speak to their mothers, while Neil Bhatt got nominated for the entire season. Orhan Awatramani aka Orry made a guest appearance and interacted with the contestants as well as the viewers. Anurag Dobhal announced that he wanted to take a voluntary exit and Vicky Jain and Abhishek Kumar resolved their fight. Khanzaadi had yet another locked horns with the Power house members resulting in a major fight. Ankita felt hurt after Neil nominated her for eviction.
