Vedalam: The action comedy featured Ajith as Ganesh who clashes with a trio of criminal brothers. The film was a complete one-man show and Ajith stole every scene he was in. The film collected 126 Crores worldwide.

Mankatha: The black comedy mystery was directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film featured an ensemble cast and was the 2nd biggest opener at the time of its release. The film earned 130 Crores worldwide. 

Veeram: The action film directed by Siva received positive reviews from the critics and the audiences as well. The film was also remade in Telegu starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Veeram collected a whopping 156 Crores at the global box-office.

Vivegam: The film featured Ajith, Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan in prominent roles and was met with mixed reaction from the critics but Ajith's fans loved the film. It collected 167 Crores worldwide.
