Aamir Khan explains why he didn't work with Mahesh Bhatt in his career when he had the chance.

Unsurprisingly, Aamir Khan's Dangal has opened to great commercial and critical success. Two years in the making, the film is Mr. Perfectionist's follow-up to the mightily successful PK, which is another critical and commercial milestone. The film is also a tribute to the actor-producer for making superior blockbusters rather than unoriginal and uninspiring movies that many of his counterparts still make.

But this wasn't always this way as there was a time the actor too made average films and dealt with frequent failures. That changed around 2000, when the actor changed his approach and soon after earned the title of Mr. Perfectionist. What has followed his a track-record of making one good film after the other, and unparalleled box office earnings.

    So what changed?

Well, it was the actor's commitment to making good cinema. And that led to him taking several hard choices. One of those came when he rejected working with Mahesh Bhatt, at a time when every wanted to work for him.

In a recent interview with Fever 104, the actor explained the same. (Try not getting a little inspired.)
