Game of Thrones Goof-Ups: Here Is Proof That We Completely Overlooked The Time Travel Angle In The Show

If you are a religious follower of Game of Thrones for the last 8 seasons, you would know that it takes a lot of attention to details even while watching the show. The show has always been big on Easter eggs and hidden clues in the frame that can say a lot about the show’s upcoming plotlines.

But sometimes, due to the amount of attention we fans pay to everything that is happening on the screen, we end up spotting things that the makers would rather not have us pay attention to. From laptop chargers to Starbucks coffee more recently, here are a few times Game Of Thrones either had an angle of time travel that we totally overlooked or the biggest show ever made some serious goof and albeit goof-ups.

Daenerys’ Starbucks Coffee

In the recent episode of the show, fans spotted a cup of Starbucks coffee sitting beside Daenerys in the Winterfell. Twitter almost immediately erupted with hilarious memes as soon as the goof up was spotted. Honestly speaking, given the way things are going for Daenerys right now, a good cup of joe would not be too bad also we can totally imagine a bustling Starbucks counter at the Winterfell with the number of people that live in the castle.

Littlefinger’s Watch

Believe it or not, but Littlefinger was actually seen wearing a pretty modern watch in one of the scenes from the fourth episode of season 6. Again, given the number of unimaginable things he has done in his lifetime, a little bit of time travel does not seem too far-fetched.

Stannis’ Laptop Charger

If you notice very carefully, in the scene where Stannis is shown lying dead in the snow outside Winterfell, we see a laptop charger sticking out from behind him. At this point, we do not even know what to question. Do we ask why is there a laptop charger in Westeros or do we ask why the makers were sticking a laptop charger into the actor Stephen Dillane while shooting his death scene?

Margaery's Computer Notification

Well, even Margaery was not immune to such a goof up. In the scene where she is seen talking to the kids at the orphanage in Flea Bottom, we can clearly hear the notification chime of a laptop or android phone. If only Margaery had the same phone while she was at the Sept of Baelor and Lancel could have sent her a message about the wildfire below the Sept, then she and her dresses with plunging necklines would still be a part of the show!
