Lock Upp first runner-up Payal Rohatgi announces wedding with Sangram Singh, couple to tie the knot in July

Actress-model Payal Rohatgi who had emerged as the first runner up of Kangana Ranaut ’s controversial reality show Lock Upp has announced her wedding with beau and wrestler Sangram Singh today (May 20). The couple shared a common post with a quirky wrestling twist. The two have been in a relationship for many years now and are about to finally enter marital bliss in July this year.

Talking about the same, the post has Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh giving out wrestling poses against the backdrop of a wrestling ring. The words ‘Save The Date, Coming This July’ can be seen written on the announcement poster. While Sangram can be seen looking dapper in formal black attire, Payal looks pretty in a turquoise green traditional attire.

Payal Rohatgi captioned the same stating, “Coming this July... Where we get to say the vows!!! And be wedding-bound! Love Sangram & Payal.” Many members of the sports fraternity congratulated the couple as they are all set to tie the knot in a few months. Take a look at the post.

For the unversed, Payal Rohatgi had revealed on the show Lock Upp that she wanted to tie the knot with Sangram Singh for quite some time now but there were many obstacles in their path. The 36 China Town actress had broken down, alleging that some of Sangram’s relatives and friends had tried to persuade him from marrying her. Sangram visited the show during the family week and had an adorable proposal for his ladylove.

Apart from this, Payal Rohatgi had also made a heartbreaking confession that she and Sangram Singh had failed attempts to become pregnant. The actress had even said that she told Sangram to marry someone else who would be able to give her a child. However, after some motivation from Kangana Ranaut and her co-contestants, Payal made the decision to adopt a child in the future.
