JioCinema Premium seems to have taken a vow to make the viewers totally glued to their TV sets and mobile phones. The kind of content that they have been dropping of late is totally a wide range and varied one! The latest offering from JioCinema Premium is Gaanth, which will be premiering on June 11.

The gripping series which stars Manav Vij, Monika Panwar and Saloni Batra in key roles, has been ‘constructed’ on the story plot that revolves around an unfathomable and bone chilling case which is enough to distort the similarities between certainty and outlook.

The series treats the viewers to the spooky streets of East Delhi, the very place where an extremely bizarre case of mass suicide attracts the undivided attention of the police personnel as well as the media. Any top-notch case gets handed over to the hands of the most reliable and trusted police officer, this one is a bit different.

That marks the entry of Police Inspector Gadar Singh (played by Manav Vij), who vows to get into the root of the matter and solve the case in whatever it takes to do it. That is why he is totally determined to walk any extra mile possible in order to get into the skin of the matter and eventually, solve it, come what may!

Just as he is en route to solve the case, Gadar Singh gets a helping hand in the form of a psychiatric intern in the form of Sakshi Murmu (Monika Panwar). The USP of this lady is that she has been ‘blessed’ with a unique trait of observing designs, which are otherwise imperceptible to the human eye.

Will the two differently natured people be able to solve a totally strange crime in which there are seven bodies hanging from seven ropes in a house is what forms the rest of the story. While the nail-biting series has been produced by Ajit Andhare, it has been created by Soham Bhattacharya, and directed by Kanishk Verma.

The series of Gaanth will be premiering on June 11 on JioCinema Premium.
