Marvel rumored to be developing a Vision Quest series for Disney+

It seems that the studio is planning on making a series around Vision, and it might be based on the Vision Quest series by John Byrne.

Marvel fans last saw Vision in the WandaVision series, in which he was restored to life by SWORD in a new white body, albeit without any memories of his past or his emotions, which resulted in him leaving Wanda.

This is a partial adaption of the 1980s comic series Vision Quest by John Byrne and the new series is rumored to continue the storyline.

The Ankler's Jeff Sneider, who also broke the news that Harrison Ford would be joining the MCU and was cast as the new Thunderbolt Ross, revealed recently that we will see more of Vision in the MCU.

In the latest episode of The Hot Mike Podcast with Jeff and John, he said that a new series titled Vision Quest is in active development at Marvel.

In the interview, he said, "I'm told that next week, Marvel will be opening a writers' room for a Vision show titled 'Vision Quest'."

Considering his track record it would be safe to assume this to be true and could be one of the yet-to-revealed projects the studio talked about at SDCC AND D23 earlier this year.

In the comics, Vision goes on a rampage after being tricked by the supervillain Immortus who is an incarnation of Kang The Conqueror. But with the help of Wanda and the rest of the Avengers, he is able to restore his former self.

While the series won't be an exact remake of the comics, it is clear that the storyline being connected to Kang would tie into the next Avengers movie The Kang Dynasty.

The studio is expected to announce the series sometime next year. meanwhile, Kang will be making his return to the MCU after his brief cameo in Loki in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania next year.
