    The Panchayat 2 makers had earlier announced its release on May 20, however, the web series was released two days before to surprise fans.

    Amazon Prime Video 's original series Panchayat finally made a comeback with its second season and already received a thumbs up from the majority of the netizens. Helmed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the series continues the journey of engineer-turned panchayat secretary Abhishek played by Jitendra Kumar. It also saw the return of Neena Gupta along with other cast members including Raghubir Yadav , Chandan Roy , Faisal Malik, and Biswapati Sarkar in prominent roles. 

    In the new season, the protagonist Abhishek battles with new obstacles, that changes his dynamics with the villagers and also show the love angle between him and Pradhan’s daughter Rinki. The power-packed storyline of the TVF creation kept the audience hooked, and they took to Twitter to drop their honest opinions. Check out their reactions here:

    While a few lauded its comical scenes and power-packed storyline, some found the characters relatable and endearing. One netizen wrote, ''Panchayat2 ending will left you whipping your eyes. This is the content we don’t deserve but we truly need. A pure innocent happy vibes throughout the entire #PanchayatSeason2 Brilliant acting and casting faisal malik what an actor Can’t wait for 3S to come.''

    However, a section of people compared the series to the upcoming Zoya Akhtar 's The Archies starring Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda , and Khushi Kapoor . One of the users wrote, "Indians will always prefer #panchayat2 over this super gloomy picnic cinema, barring Netflix 's core audience of 20 people from South Delhi." Another commented, "Rather than making a series on indian comics they are choosing foreign comic character. #tvf you guys are doing great."

    Meanwhile, The Panchayat 2 makers had earlier announced its release date to be May 20, however, in a move to surprise the fans, the highly anticipated web series was released two days before on Wednesday evening.
