Shahid Kapoor's first look from web series debut Farzi has been revealed and it is quite intense

Amazon Prime Video has announced a whole new line-up of originals and fans waiting for Shahid Kapoor ’s debut on OTT were finally served a first look at his character. Titled Farzi , the first picture from the series shows Shahid with an intense look on his face.

Farzi has been directed by the duo Raj and DK who scored big with two seasons of The Family Man starring Manoj Bajpayee on the platform before. The crime thriller has been described by the streamer as ‘A small-time artist working out of his grandfather’s printing press has designed the ultimate con job - a crime uniquely suited to him - and gets pulled into the murky, high stakes world of all that it demands. A fiery, unorthodox task force officer has made it his mission to rid the country of the menace this poses in this fast-paced, edgy one-of-a-kind thriller.’

The series which is expected to arrive on Amazon Prime Video this year, also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna, Kay Kay Menon , Regina Cassandra, Zakir Hussain, Bhuvan Arora, Amol Palekar and Kubbra Sait .

Shahid Kapoor shot for the series in 2021 in locations including Goa and Mumbai and launched his first look for Farzi at a grand event held in Mumbai today.

Among the other new series announced on the streamer today included a series titled Gulkand Tales which is also being helmed by Raj and DK and will star Kunal Kemmu in the lead along with Patralekha and Pankaj Tripathi.
