The Rings of Power Episode 6 new promo teases the arrival of the Dark Lord Sauron

With only three more episodes remaining season one of The Rings of power is gearing up for the season finale in October, the series despite an initial lukewarm reaction from fans is slowly gaining ground.

The fifth episode " Parting" hints that the stranger from the sky could be Sauron, while this is most likely a misdirection, the new [prmo for episode does strongly indicate that whoever he turns out to be Sauron will reveal himself.

The show also introduced a group of white-robed wizards, who seem to be on the stranger's trail and in the promo for the next episode seems to be conducting some sort of ritual, whether they work for the dark lord or against him remains to be seen.

The Rings of Power is one of the most expensive TV series ever made and is set thousands of years before the event of The Lord of the Rings and will focus on the rise of Sauron and the forging of the rings of power.

The Rings of Power is created by J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay, and the first five episodes of the series are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video , with new episodes premiering every Friday.
