After Tejasswi Prakash, Ekta Kapoor is back again hunting for her next lead actress on Bigg Boss 16

Back in 2022, television czarina Ekta Kapoor picked Tejasswi Prakash from the reality show Big Boss 15 and cast her as the lead actress of Naagin 6 . Since then there is no looking back for Tejasswi as she has emerged to be one of the most popular actresses in the television industry. In the latest development, the film producer has once again gone on an actress-hunting spree and planning to pick one from the ongoing Bigg Boss season 16.

Taking to Instagram, Ekta shared the throwback video of Tejasswi Prakash when she unveiled her in serpent avatar for the first time. Alongside, she wrote, “Lots of love for this nagina! Found her in d big boss house n in throes of corona n high fever n cough forced @colors n Manisha that I wanted to cast her ! Hopefully going to big boss for a exciting film announcement let’s see who we find there thsi time.” Check the post here:

Soon after the Bigg Boss fans reacted to her post cheering for contestant Priyanka Chahar Choudhary to be Ekta’s next lead actress. “Hope you find Priyanka there!!, “wrote one of the fans. Another wrote, “ Please bring #priyankachaharchoudhary and #ankitgupta together in a supernatural show” “If you are going in the house then pls choose Priyanka and tina as next naagins,” read one comment. “They'll definitely set fire together please consider them #PriyAnkit #PriyankaChaharChoudhary #AnkitGupta, added another user.

Ekta also announced the end of her folklore show Naagin 6 in her second post, writing, “We introduce a new folklore weekend show ….Time to say bye to my favourite show n India’s biggest folklore franchise #naagin6 ! This season marked@d comback@n found its place right with season one n three! Thanku for all d love and now for the next ….JAI MATA DI P.s to the team party zaroor hogi.” After which Naagin 6 fans were left heartbroken. One fan wrote, “#naagin6 will forever be remembered to me as #tejasswiprakash show. Will miss watching her.” Another commented, “This season is undoubtedly unique with all the exceptional characters played by Teja be it Kiara, Pratha , Prathna , Preethi and ofcourse Shesh Naagin.
