Dalljiet Kaur slams rumours around her separation with husband Nikhil Patel days after deleting pics with him

Dalljiet Kaur has been grabbing eyeballs for her speculated separation from her husband Nikhil Patel. The rumours started doing the rounds after she deleted all the pictures with him on her social media handle as well as the vlogs on her YouTube channel. Now, she has broken her silence on the same.

The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Do actress shared a news report by a publication who had claimed to have spoken to her on this issue. However, Dalljiet slammed them on her Instagram stories. She wrote, “I never spoke to you. Do not misquote me.” Take a look at the same.

Earlier, a spokesperson of the actress refused to comment on her divorce rumours but instead revealed that she had come to India with her son Jaydon since both of her parents were unwell and were required to undergo surgery. The spokesperson also requested to give some privacy to the actress since her son is also involved in this. Their statement read, “I hereby state that Dalljiet and Jaydon (her son) are in India currently for Dalljiet’s dad's surgery followed by her Maa's surgery as well, which required them to be beside him. In addition to this, I would only like to say that Dalljiet, at the moment, would not like to make any comments on anything because the kids are in the picture. Please respect her kids' privacy and please consider this as the only statement she would like to give out."

However, a source close to the actress said that she and Nikhil soon realized early on in their marriage that they were not compatible. The source further said that if the duo fail to resolve their differences then separation will be the only option. Talking to Etimes, the source said, “Initially, everything seemed fine in their marriage, but it was short-lived. Problems cropped up between the couple soon after. Dalljiet and Nikhil realized they were incompatible. The situation worsened in the last two months. If problems persist, separation might be the only option." Dalljiet tied the knot with Nikhil last year in March and moved to Kenya with him soon after that.
