When filmmaker Ekta Kapoor entered the Bigg Boss 16 house earlier this month, she offered Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia a role in her upcoming film Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2. Netizens then eagerly waited for an announcement about Priyanka Chahar Choudhary bagging Naagin 7 . However, it was revealed that the actress has turned the show down because her team is in talks for a movie. Well, last week host and superstar Salman Khan left her fans pleasantly surprised when he told Priyanka that he has something for her after Bigg Boss 16.

This left us wondering if Salman plans to launch Priyanka in Bollywood with one of his upcoming movies. Well, Bollywood Life has now revealed that Bhaijaan has recommended Priyanka’s name to a filmmaker, but it is not a project that will feature him. According to the report, Priyanka has bagged a prominent role in Rajkumar Hirani ’s much awaited film Dunki starring Bollywood’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, thanks to Salman’s recommendation. The makers apparently needed a girl who had a Punjabi background for this particular role.

Also starring the very versatile Taapsee Pannu, this project would be a huge stepping stone for Priyanka! It would also send her fans over the moon with joy, because they were pretty sad when it was reported that not Priyanka but Sumbul Touqeer Khan might star in Ekta’s supernatural thriller series Naagin 7. Well, Priyanka and Nimrit are not the only BB stars who have bagged big Bollywood projects. Singer and social media sensation Abdu Rozik will be seen in a cameo in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan whereas Tina Datta has apparently signed a Telugu film.
