'He is a part of my life and..' : Akanksha Puri spills the bean on her relationship with rumored beau Mika Singh

Actress Akanksha Puri has been grabbing eyeballs for quite sometime for her rumored relationship with singer Mika Singh. It all started after they were spotted together at numerous occasions and was further fuelled after Akanksha participated on Mika’s Swayamvar show titled Mika Di Vohti. Akanksha went on to win the show after the singer chose her as an ‘ideal match.’

However, even after the show concluded with many pictures of Mika Singh and Akanksha Puri going viral together, the latter maintained that the two are just friends and are not in a relationship. In the recently held, Indian Telly Awards, Akanksha spoke with Tellychakkar about her relationship status with the ‘Subah Hone Na De’ singer. She said, “I think because of the nature of the show, because it is a Swayamwar, and the last picture that goes out is of you with the var mala, so people think every ritual is done on-stage and the show had three girls, out of which one would be a winner and that is me. I have an old bond with Mika ji, which will stay that way, and that is a very special bond for me, and I don’t know if and when there is going to be a stamp on that relationship but he is a part of my life and he will always be”.

For the unversed, Akanksha Puri had a nasty breakup with Paras Chhabra when the latter was a participant on Bigg Boss 13. Paras separated from the Vignaharta Ganesh actress on national television and his growing closeness with co-contestant Mahira Sharma was said to be one of the reasons. Akanksha was also asked about her ideal life partner. She said, “Initially there were a lot of checkboxes, but those are not there anymore, I hope I find a nice guy and that I find a guy”.

Meanwhile before this, Akanksha Puri was also linked to Bigg Boss 16 fame Shiv Thakare. However, Akanksha denied the rumors. She said that Shiv is a good guy and that she fails to get good guys.
