Munawar Faruqui returns to Dongri with Bigg Boss 17 trophy; Abhishek Kumar celebrates his victory with bhangra

After 107 days, the 17th season of Bigg Boss came to an end with a grand finale episode on 28th January. While many expected Ankita Lokhande to make it to the top 2, she was sadly evicted even before Mannara Chopra. In the end, superstar host Salman Khan stood on stage with stand up comic Munawar Faruqui and TV actor Abhishek Kumar. Thanks to his crazy fan following, Munawar emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 17 whereas Abhishek became the first runner up. A day later, Munawar reached Dongri with the coveted trophy where he received a roaring welcome from a massive swarm of fans.

Munawar greeted the crowd from the sunroof of his car. While some stood at the edge of their balconies, others hung from trucks just to get a glimpse of the stand up comic who dedicated the trophy to his fans. Meanwhile Abhishek returned to his Mumbai home to a special surprise. His family as well as neighbours hosted a special celebration to honour his rollercoaster of a journey in the Bigg Boss house. Dressed in an all black outfit with garlands around his neck, looking handsome as ever, the Udaariyaan star broke into bhangra.

Well, Abhishek lost the trophy to Munawar but he surely won several hearts and proof of the same is the love he is receiving on social media. In the comment section below, one social media user wrote: “Most deserving winner Abhishek 🏆🥺❤️”, whereas another fan shared, “Main bas abhishek ki wajh se hi bigg boss dekhati thi.... Abhishek deserve karta hain trophy 😢.” A third netizen wrote: “Guys celebrate his victory of hearts❤️❤️❤️...I was also heartbroken earlier but now happy to see him like this...He deserves all the love and happiness ❤️❤️...Jai Shree Ram🙏🏻🙏🏻.”

In another viral video, Abhishek shared that he missed his housemate Khanzaadi a lot post her eviction. Despite a few fights, the two hit it off during the reality show. He was also hoping to see her on the grand finale night but she gave it a miss along with Anurag Dobhal. Well, Abhishek hopes to connect with the singer soon. We can’t wait to see how that turns out!
