Shark Tank India: Vineeta Singh calls Anupam Mittal 'original celebrity', latter reacts

Vineeta Singh, who appeared on the first season of the reality show Shark Tank India , called her co-judge Anupam Mittal ‘original celebrity.’ The Sugar Cosmetics co-founder said that before the show happened, Anupam already knew how to face the camera as he acted in a few movies in the past.

Both Vineeta and Anupam recently appeared on YouTuber Suhani Shah's chat show That's My Job. While Shaddi.com co-founder made fun of Vineeta’s hand movements, the latter pointed out his attitude and mannerism on the reality show. However, she later called him the real celebrity out of all seven judges on the show.

Vineeta said, “He is the original celebrity, do you know he has already done movies. We are watching him and learning that this is how we have to act when the camera is on.” Besides Vineeta and Anupam, other judges on the show included Aman Gupta (boAt), Namita Thapar (Emcure pharmaceuticals), Ashneer Grover (BharatPe), Ghazal Alagh (Mamaearth), and Peyush Bansal(Lenskart).

The first season of Shark Tank India concluded in December last year. In the show, several entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas to a panel of ‘sharks’ for their investment in exchange for equity in their company. The show was hosted by Rannvijay Singh and instantly became a hit among audiences of all age groups. Even the judges' camaraderie and one-liners were a big hit with the viewers.

After the success of the first season, the makers will return with the second season of the show reportedly in December this year. Recently, the promo for the upcoming season was shared on social media by Sony Entertainment Television. The seven sharks are reportedly returning for the new season. The registrations for the new season are also now open.
