Actor Akash Choudhary, who shot to fame with the television serial Bhagya Lakshmi, was attacked by a few unruly fans in Mumbai. The video that surfaced online shows the actor clicking a selfie with a few of his fans. After he was done taking pictures, he started walking away, and that’s when a fan hit his back with a plastic bottle. Baffled by their behaviour, he immediately turned around and questioned them.

Soon after the video went online, comedian Bharti Singh reacted to the incident with shocking face emojis. As it all happened in front of the paparazzi, a section of netizens expressed their concern about celebs’ security. “They are celebrities, not a public property. How dare you do this he should slap those boys teach them lesson for everyone,” wrote a user. “If they attack... they are not Fans,” reacted another netizen. “Aise log pe strict action lena chaiye (one should take strict action against these people),” said a user. Earlier, Akash made headlines when he escaped a road accident during his road trip to Lonavala. In July this year, an incident left him shaking when the truck bumped his car. On the professional front, the actor played the role of Viraj Singhania in Bhagya Lakshmi. He also appeared in Dating in the Dark and participated in MTV Splitsvilla 10. Talking about his career choices with Hindustan Times, the actor had said that he would have been at a bigger position in life had he compromised on his values. However, he believes that success might come late but he will soon reach there.

On the personal front, Akash was rumoured to be dating fellow MTV Splitsvilla 10 contestant Nibeditaa Pal. However, he quashed the rumours by calling her his good friend.
