    Siddharth Shukla fans found another reason to celebrate his career milestones as his character Shiv Shekhar from Balika Vadhu comepletes 10 years.

    Balika Vadhu was one of the biggest milestones of late Siddharth Shukla’s career. Today his fans on social found another reason to celebrate his life and career as the day marks a decade on his debut on the iconic TV show.

    The actor played Shivraj Sherkhar on the show and the character garnered him abundant love from the audience of Balika Vadhu which was already a big hit on TV before his arrival. On Twitter where fans of the actor often flock to celebrate his successes, ’10 yrs of Siddharth as Shiv’ trended big time with netizens poured in the love for the actor and the character.

    Shivraj Sherkhar a district collector in the show was one of the most progressive male characters in daily soaps who went on to marry the protagonist Anandi played by late actress Pratyusha Banerjee. With both Siddharth and Pratyush’s untimely demise the fans also relived memories of their pariing on TV and expressed how they missed the two actors dearly.

    Playing Shiv on Balika Vadhu ultimately landed Siddharth a role in the Bollywood film Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt led Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya which arrived in cinemas in 2014. Varun Dhawan had once candidly admitted that while shooting the film, more than other members of the cast, fans of all ages flocked to meet and greet Siddharth.

    The late actor ultimately quit Balika Vadhu in 2015 and later the show went off air in 2016.

    Siddharth who died last year due to a sudden heart attack at the age of 40 had garnered a legion of fans a few years ago after emerging the winner of Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 13. The late actor was last seen in the ALT Balaji web series Broken But Beautiful 3 which had marked his digital debut months before his demise.
